TEAM ONENESS
is the working group actively supporting reconstruction of Minami-Sanriku and Kesennuma
afflicted area, consist of dedicated volunteers live there and in non-afflicted area
such as Tokyo. Members in afflicted area are also sufferers of the disaster and struggling
everyday for their own self-reliant life as well as area’s recovery.
One and half year has passed since that day, but the road to the reconstruction is still far
long away to go. The life in temporary housing is riddled with angst and worry.
However, the warm support and cheer given from all over Japan really encourage people
in a heartfelt way, and they may be able to keep working hard without giving up.
Although the sadness of losing family and friends has never gone, nowadays the smile is
raised on people’s face even temporarily.
People become to enjoy good meal and share the peaceful time together.
